Strategic Confusion
Elucidating the concept of the reverted Spirit-sphere's unawareness of its situation and the need for a Hyperborean Strategy.

The concept of strategic confusion is central to the Hyperborean understanding of the Spirit's captivity in matter. It describes the state of the reverted Spirit-sphere, which, due to the Siddhas' treason, remains unaware of its true situation and is thus trapped in the illusion of the material world.
In its normal state, the Spirit-sphere exists in a state of absolute orientation, with all its interior points focused on the Absolute Ego, representing perfect unity and gnostic awareness. However, the Spirit-sphere possesses a single exterior point, a "weak point" that the Traitorous Siddhas exploited, causing the Spirit-sphere to revert.
This reversion resulted in the Tergum Hostis (hostile back) being turned inwards and the Vultus Spiritus (spiritual face) facing outwards. This essentially trapped the spirit within its own inverted shell, obscuring its awareness.
The key aspect of strategic confusion is the Spirit-sphere's inability to perceive its reverted state. Despite being separated from its Infinite Ego, which now resides at an infinite distance beyond the material plane, the reverted Spirit-sphere remains oblivious to its disconnection.
The Trapped Spirit-sphere
The sources explain this unawareness by highlighting the interposition of the material plane between the reverted Spirit-sphere and its Infinite Ego. The Spirit-sphere, now with its Tergum Hostis (hostile back) facing inwards, is essentially opposed to this material plane, creating a barrier of non-communication with its own Infinite Ego.
This barrier prevents the Spirit-sphere from:
- Recognising its disorientation: The Spirit-sphere, trapped in its own reversed state, cannot perceive its separation from the Infinite Ego, its true source of wisdom and knowledge.
- Comprehending its enchainment: The material plane acts as a veil, obscuring the Spirit-sphere's understanding of its true situation. It perceives the material world as its reality, unaware of its true spiritual nature and origin.
Initiating its liberation: The Spirit-sphere, blinded by strategic confusion, cannot perceive the path to liberation. It remains entangled in the illusion of the material world, unable to initiate the journey back to the Origin.

The Material Enchainment
To overcome this strategic confusion and break free from the material enchainment, the sources emphasize the necessity of a Hyperborean Strategy. This strategy aims to:
Revert the reversion
To restore the Spirit-sphere to its normal state, turning the Tergum Hostis outwards again and the Vultus Spiritus inwards towards its center.
Reconnect with the Infinite Ego
To bridge the gap between the reverted Spirit-sphere and its Infinite Ego, restoring the spirit's connection to its source of knowledge and wisdom.
Achieve strategic orientation
To guide the Spirit-sphere towards the Origin, leading it out of the illusion of the material world and back to its true home.
Tergum Hostis

The Tergum Hostis, or Hostile Back, is a key concept in Hyperborean Wisdom related to the Spirit-sphere. It is the red, exterior surface of the "normal" Spirit-sphere and represents the essential hostility that the Hyperborean Spirit has towards the Demiurge's material work.
This hostility is directed at the living Universe, the Devic Hierarchies, the Archetypes and Aspects of the Demiurge, and the cultures of animal-man. The Spirit-sphere, in its normal state, is closed-in on itself and turned around the Absolute Ego, presenting a Hostile Back from every side to the Demiurge. Although it signifies essential hostility, the Tergum Hostis is not wisdom itself, nor does it dictate decisions. It is a manifestation produced in response to the Demiurge's work.
Vultus Spiritus

Vultus Spiritus, or Spiritual Face, is a concept within Hyperborean Wisdom relating to the Spirit-sphere. It is the green, interior surface of the "normal" Spirit-sphere, contrasting with the Tergum Hostis.
After the reversion of the Spirit-sphere, the Spiritual Face is exteriorised, directly confronting the material plane. The Spiritual Face is considered Wisdom itself, and the Absolute Ego depends on it.
The "gnostic points" of the interior surface no longer look toward the centre after the reversion, but in an opposite, exterior direction. In the reverted Spirit-sphere, the awakened Self can only gather an infinitesimal aspect of the Vultus Spiritus.

The Infinite Ego
The Infinite Ego, in the context of Hyperborean Wisdom, is the displaced location of the Absolute Ego following the Spirit-sphere's reversion. It represents a synthesis at an "infinite pole," where projections from the sphere's exterior converge. Unlike the Absolute Ego, the Infinite Ego exists beyond the realm of finite entities and archetypal order, embodying indetermination and a reflection of eternity. This concept is crucial in understanding the Virya's spiritual journey.
A small portion of the Infinite Ego reflects in the Symbol of the Origin, marking the genesis of consciousness. The Virya, participating in this Infinite Ego, can only fully realise it by transcending the limitations of the conscious subject, recognising their essence as a reflection of the eternal Spirit. The Infinite Ego, insubstantial and a synthesis of the Spirit, plays a vital role in the awakened Virya's quest to restore the Spirit-sphere to normality. The awakened Ego seeks the "Eye of Fire," the point through which the Spirit perceived the sphere, to reverse the treasonous act that caused the reversion.
